The 48-inch electric high-temperature double disc gate valve adopts parallel double disc structure with full-diameter design to ensure minimum pressure drop.Two valve plates and wedges are embedded in the "valve plate frame" and the "valve plate frame" slides in the guide plate. When the valve plate closes, under the action of wedges, two valve plates are opened to achieve sealing.

      When closing the valve, the stem pulls the wedge (a few millimeters at the beginning of the action, the valve plate force acts only on the wedge, until the wedge contacts with the "valve plate frame" to pull the "valve plate frame movement"). After the wedge action, the two valve plates loosen and the sealing specific pressure is eliminated. Because the gap between the valve plate frame and the guide plate is large, the opening force is very small, which ensures the smooth opening and closing of the valve.
